Music Composition and Technology

In keeping with the sports music assignment,  think of a current sports theme that borrows music from other traditional sources.  I can think of one national theme, and one local theme that re-purposes the music from its original form to fit the needs of a sport theme presentation.

Why do you think music directors would re-purpose music as sport theme presentations?  Can you give me an example of this?

Music Composition and Technology: Rate and review your favorite television theme song.  Answer these questions:
          1.  Is the theme musically valid?
          2.  Does the theme re-enforce the style of the show, and convey the shows essence?
          3.  Is the theme memorable music? Will it continue to define the show long after the show has been canceled? 

Digital Photography:  Select a photograph of your liking.  Rate and review this photograph, be able to present the photograph to the class.  Answer these questions:
          1.  What compositional style does the photograph represent?
          2.  Has the photograph be "photoshoped"?
          3.  What particular aspects of the photograph truly catches your attention?
